1. Make Mouths Water

2. Shoot actions behind the scenes

Use your social media accounts to document the work that goes into making your dishes. Introduce members of your team to the public. If you head out to the market or meet with one of your suppliers, get some shots of all that great produce.

People love seeing the inner workings of businesses— especially if they get to enjoy the fruits of that same labour.

3. Engaged with Foodie Influencers.

Influencer marketing delivers 11x higher ROI than traditional forms of digital marketing.

Start with micro-influencer. Look for influencers who are popular on social media and whose audience aligns with your brand. For example, if you’re in the fashion industry, look for fashion influencers; kids industry- look for mummy influencers. And of course if you are in the F&B industry, find foodies. We helped our client, Laksabar to engage with more than 10 influencers in a month and not only did we have a 500% growth of Instagram followers, we also managed to boost their ranking on Zomato from 3.2 to 4.

How to find these influencers?

  • Hashtag: be specific enough (look up #eatingmelbourne)

  • Look for aesthetically pleasing photos (most of them owned by influencers)

  • Look up at nicely curated Cafes/restaurants Instagram feed– they would usually will tag influencers

5. Celebrate Holidays on Social Media

Creating content for the holidays can be easy – you can just write copy to the effect of Happy [whatever holiday it is] from [your company], and create a festive image to match with your logo watermarked on it.

People love a good deal, and being privy to the latest offers and product announcements is one of the biggest reasons why they follow brands online. Social media is a great way to way offer freebies and announce special events. Why not offer a complimentary muffin with any main meal providing that customers show you the discount code or picture you shared online? Or perhaps publicise the fact that you're giving away free glasses of bubbly on Mother's Day. Encourage your followers to reply to and share your promotional posts and get people — and their friends — talking about your business.
